Branding for an Irish music agency that has expanded worldwide,
hosting global techno club nights from Australia to Ibiza to Canada.
Since 2004, Shockabuku parties have hosted international techno DJs from all over the world, as well as holding residencies at Big Boss Club Toronto and touring South America and Asia.
The buddhist concept of Shakabuku or Shockabuku, is described in the film Grosse Pointe Blank as "a swift, spiritual kick to the head that alters your reality forever". The brand identity was designed using the concept of alternate characters and alphabets, with the typography set in an unconventional modified Baron (Fontfabric). A logomark, developed using the two letters 'u', expands into parentheses forming a focal point for showcasing the line-up.
